Case Study: SEMASS Waste-to-Energy Facility

The PAC SYSTEM GEA designed for this 55 MW waste-to-energy facility increased the plant's condensing capacity by approximately 20%.

The plant has a 55 MW steam turbine (down exhaust). It was placed into commercial operation in 1989 and was retrofitted with GEA's PAC SYSTEM in 1999. The ACC is comprised of 12 cells in a 3x4 configuration.

Our design was recommended to meet the client's low-noise requirements.
